Deleted stories

I have deleted about half the stories I had uploaded here as clearly they weren't attracting the readers who are attracted to this site. I found the quality of new stories available to read of rather poor quality, only 2 of the 8 stories I have read actually held my attention and one of those that was ongoing appears to have stopped being updated for several weeks.

I left up about a dozen of my stories which had each attracted 50+ reads, and I will continue to add to the 2 incomplete stories until they are completed.

The "Witches" story has only one more chapter to go, so I will complete that one in the next week or so and leave it up for a week or so after before deleting it. It has been mire enthusuastically received on another, more established site. 

"Life Less Lived" has only attracted a couple of readers, so I will continue uploading chapters for the benefit of those readers. The novel is complete and there are 14 chapters all together. This was a difficult story for me to write, being a male writer, I usually write from a male perspective. It is a very complex plot with a lot of female characters and a number of very different agendas by the 6 or 7 females that are continually featured, while the main male character around who these females revolve remains an enigmatic figure. So I can understand why the story is a difficult one to read, it was also very difficult to write. Most of my novels (and I have completed 19 to date, with Nos 20 and 21 9/10 and 6/10 completed respectively) and my novels take on average about 30 months to write. 'LLL" was started in December 1990 and not completed until 2019, and I came close to publishing 3 times between 2012 and 2017 before finally committing it to print in 2019, so I can understand why it is a complicated piece for readers used to simple plots to wade through.

Anyway, I doubt that I will be publishing anything new on here for now. I will keep looking through the new stories while visiting the site and hope that I can spot something worthwhile reading; I enjoy relaxing with a good read as well as suffer the agony of writing. I hope I can find something interesting soon. Let me know if you have any recommendations.
