Klyde woke up first and froze when he realized he’d been hugging her the entire night. Well, shit. Even though they’ve slept together many times, they don’t cuddle. His body turned stiff, wondering how to remove himself from her. He only moved a little when she frowned and groaned in her sleep. She wiggled and turned to her other side. That untangled their limbs and made it easier for him. He sighed before sitting up. His expression was grim as he stared at her. What should he do with her? He simply kept staring as he contemplated.

“Damn it.” He uttered quite loudly when he couldn’t come up with a good decision.

“Shit.” He added, when she turned around again, opened her eyes and glared at him.

“You awake? If you’re not sleeping anymore, then get out. You’re noisy. I want to sleep more.” She lifted a leg and kicked his shin. It barely hurt him.
