Klyde stared intently when she seemed to have no intention of leaving his lap. He put an arm around her, keeping her in place.

“Might as well stay here, in case other women dare to approach you.” She made herself comfortable and quickly reached for one of the shot glasses that appeared on the bar.

Klyde glared when he realized what happened. “What did I say?”

“Just one!” She insisted. Anyway, she already drank it.

He lightly massaged his temple as he stared at her with exasperation. She winked at him before downing another shot.

“Damn, woman.”

“It’s been a while since I drank. Can you drive?”

He sighed. “I can drive.”

“Thank you. Ha!” Great. She’s got an instant driver. She happily reached for the rest of the drinks. Klyde took the non-alcoholic ones initially meant for her.
