Update, Chapter 41 of Seducing Her Inheritance

“What? Why this question?” It feels sudden.

“I don’t think it’s relevant.” She continued with a chuckle, which irritated him. Seeing that familiar expression on his face, Mel was assured.

“I’m just curious what interests someone like you.” He replied with indifference, though he’s fuming inside.

“Can’t you tell yet? I’m sure I mentioned most of it in passing.”

“Give me a summary, then.” He demanded, making her snort.

“A very handsome guy.” She began with a tease.

It’s his turn to roll his eyes at her. He gave her a look that says “go on”.

“One who’s not after my money.” She began counting them on her fingers.

“One who would treat me well. Not a creep. Not forceful.” Her expression turned dark, recalling the unpleasant experiences she recently had. He did, too.

“One who can support himself, who wouldn’t rely on me for money. Who wouldn’t be intimidated by my money.” She sounded comical this time, which is good. Klyde nodded.

“Someone sweet. Who would take good care of me and take me out often on dates. I do want to receive flowers and gifts. Random surprises. Who would take me to unwind somewhere, maybe in a beach or a relaxing place.”

Klyde stared at her with pursed lips. This part is a little difficult for him. He’s not that type of person. Can’t he just give her money to take a vacation? Nah, this girl has the money already.
