In The Interest of You!

Hello everyone, 

It seems like forever last I sat on my laptop and made a blog post --- or any post for that matter. So, I apologize if the blog turns out to be lengthier than your expectations. I will be venting out everything here which I had kept hidden beneath the layers of my silence for months. Brace yourself!

As you can see 'CAGED' is live on the platform. You can purchase the book. It comes with a standard price. I hadn't raised the original price (which was supposed to be a discount for early purchases) since I realized that I have to make another book with the continuation of the story. The fact that despite my efforts of encapsulating the entire plot within merely 30-40 chapters came to me as a surprise when I saw how effortlessly the story was progressing, and if I dared to hinder it, I might never find the inspiration again. Thereby, there will be another book with the same name. At best, I can do one thing which is to add a subtitle. 

Since the original plan was to just write one book, the price for the second book will be kept so low that entirely you will have the financial burden of owning a single book at a combined price. For instance - I can (will give my hundred percent) to put the price between 0.99 to 1.09, which makes the cost of both books equivalent to 2.99 or 3.09. The average cost of any book on Booknet is the same as CAGED. I hope you won't be mad at me. I will be starting to update the next book as soon as I get a cover designed. The process will be the same as before. The initial few chapters will be available for preview and the rest of them will be on a paid basis. 

I know many readers are unable to purchase the books. I thought a lot about it and realized that I will not put these books of mine on coin based site. I am not sure if you are aware of this but when you sign with a coin based website, as an author you face severe loss because those who use free coins to read the books, their coins aren't added to your royalties, and as a paid reader, you won't even realize how much you have spent on a book since the coins don't give you an estimate. I have seen (and have been) one of those readers who have paid as much as $9.28 for a book. I don't mean to sound blasphemous but the books over there are sometimes doesn't worth so much amount since their writers keep on writing and increasing the plot length to achieve benefits (which is fine if you are an author, you want to earn but for the readers, especially the paid ones, it is a curse) and that makes one lose interest in the book. All in all, I don't find them beneficial. Therefore, these books of mine won't be on other sites. I would keep my masterpieces over here only. To those who can't afford to buy, I will be conducting raffles / giving promos / adding discounts for you to purchase them. :)

Coming forward to CAPTURED, unlike CAGED, this book was always meant to be a series. The plot is so dense and complicated that it was impossible for me to finetune it into a single or a dual book. I had to have a third book for the couple. CAPTURED is a premising book of The Royal Series. The third book will be the last one on Ranvijay and Matsyaa, but there will be many other books on the Royal Family and CAPTURED would work as a base for them. (Note that you don't necessarily have to read CAPTURED TRILOGY for the other upcoming books.) Since CAPTURED will serve as a base (and even if I conclude it as a whole lot series) for the other books, I need to plan and execute everything carefully which explains the reason why I took my time to write it (and there were many other reasons which I don't find adequate to point out since they are personal) and you might have to see a revision in terms of chapters. 

Even though the first two books are quite bulky, there's still a lot to be said and to be shown. I am not one of those authors who would work backstage for years to polish a script and then upload it. I am the kind who wants the story to be listened to as soon as it comes to my mind and I want it to be perfect for the readers, which is why you will often see me editing the contents. I revise and revise, and revise until I get it perfect. And, when it happens, trust me, you will want nothing but a laminated copy of the text. (Maybe not, if you are not a fan of slow-burn, non-toxic romance, and you are bored out of your mind having read them.) Purposefully, I try to make your reading experience better and it will only happen when you get the best to read, which leads me to the next thing. I will upload the third (and the last book) of CAPTURED soon, but before you read that, I would ask you to reread the second book as I would soon (about in a month) cut some parts from here to add them in the first book because I feel that The Royal Obsession didn't get the closure. So did The Royal Romance. 

In any case, I don't want you to get confused when you start reading the third book. I need about a month to fix the first two books before I present the last one to you. It is a hassle. I understand, but I want it to be done the right way. I hope you will support me the way you have done till now. I am really sorry that you had to wait for a whole year to believe that I am not going to fleece you and end up taking your money for nothing. I just want you to know that I am a very impulsive person when it comes to writing and I am not sorry for that because I know when you read the books, you will understand that my impulse is worth your money. Be assured that never in my life will I start a book I don't intend to finish. I am also an avid reader and I will hate if my favorite book is blocked, and left unfinished. Thereby, I can't do that to anyone. I thank you for your unconditional love and support, but I am greedy and I seek more.
