Weeks later, Mel had her café opening. It can only seat twelve people at most. That’s how small it was. It’s a good thing she doesn’t know many people. Grandpa already hinted that he’ll come frequently. She’s not sure if that’s a good idea or not. They also brought Klay. It’s his first time outside the house. He’s very excited. Klyde was the one who’s carrying him. They look good together. The two people she loves the most.

A couple more weeks, and she was ready to go out on her own. She mentioned it to Klyde and he doesn’t have any objections.

“As long as you’re home before midnight. Take a driver. Don’t drive on your own.”

“Alright. What would you be doing while I’m out?” She’s curious. She thought he would want to come with them, but then he’s awkward around Lily and Cedrik. It’s better if he doesn’t join them.
