“Aren’t you afraid?”

Her question made him frown, “Of what?”

“You’ve ruined your image. They probably think you’re a lovesick fool.”

“I am a lovesick fool.”

She was speechless with the way he actually admitted it. And easily, too.

“Some women would probably think they can try and approach you now.”

“They can try but I don’t have eyes for them. You don’t need to worry. Your husband is loyal. Or do you still doubt me?”

She grinned. She wouldn’t dare. “I’ll trust you, then.”

“Good. You’ll be my date from now on, right?”

She tilted her head and thought about it. He squinted at her, daring her to say otherwise.

“Alright.” She finally agreed. What to do? He’s smiling more often and her heart can’t take it. He’s so charming when he does. She made sure to tell him to never smile at other women like this.
