Werewolf's Bane - Updates
Werewolf's Bane - Added Chapters
When I started this book, I had no idea it would morph into the story it has. Goodness, gracious --- THE DRAMA!
My cast of characters includes thus far,
Madadh Allaigh - Maddy is a headstrong youth who has been keenly interested in clan business from a young age, so much so that she tends to be underfoot in meetings between her father and the king. Not to mention hiding in the rafters above the meeting rooms so she can eavesdrop!
Laidir - A senior council member who is a horrible man. Conniving and evil, the guy makes my skin crawl, and we're only getting to see shades of his personality early on. If ever there were a snake in the meadow -- this guy is it!
Arragaithel - Hel, the beloved king, and Alpha, who seems not to want to be a king but loves his subjects.
Werewolves, werewolves, werewolves everywhere. Soldier werewolves, priestly werewolves, commanding werewolves of mystery -- friend or foe, even I don't know. What in the what?!
As I keep reading, I realize the cover art is entirely off for the work when it fit so nicely before, so even that might get a rework.
I'm writing as much as I can per day, trying to get ahead, but plot points keep pulling me back as I need to explain some of the background. Thank you for following the new updates, as I muck them out of the storyline.
I wish I were one of those linear style writers, but I'm not. I suppose it would be better for you all to read the story in that fashion, but I figured it might be interesting to follow how some authors might write a novel.
Not all of us can go from point A to point B. We might go from A to Z, then revisit B, T, S... Nothing in life is perfect, but with enough editing, it can make it look like we were pretty close to it.
Till the next update,
S.
