Sneak peek

When I got in, the man was naked, with only a towel around his waist. Beads of water were rolling out of his hair and running down his shoulders. His back was turned but when he heard his door open, he turned to see who it was. I had to turn around quickly to avoid him from knowing that I saw him.

"What are you doing here? Who are you?!" His voice was anything but calm.

"S-sory, I didn’t know you were busy. I will come back later." I grabbed the doorknob and opened the door, ready to run out.

"Stop!" He roared causing my heart to beat fast, faster than it should. His command compelled me to stop in my track.

"You didn’t answer my question. Who are you and what are you doing here?"

"I-I am Idina, the maid. I kno......"

"What are you still doing here? I thought I told Simon to relieve you of your duties."

"Yeah, I heard. Actually, that is why I am here. You can not fire me, sir."

"You are quite bold for coming here. My thoughts are, they didn’t tell you who I am."

"Knowing who you are wouldn’t make a difference. It wouldn't change the fact that you are being unfair to me." I voiced out what was bugging me.

"Turn around!"

"W-w-what?"

"I said turn around."

"But sir you are naked."

"If you were brave enough to open my door without knocking, then you should be brave enough to see what is inside. Now, don't let me repeat."
