The Secrets Hidden In The Scars: Chapter 17
Hey, everybody! I contunue to update my book "The Secrets Hidden In The Scars" with new chapters. The self-titled Chapter 17 is already available for reading. From this time, I will be publishing chapters in a new book, which I added as the second part. The first part is here, the second part is here.
So what, my dears, we're getting closer and closer to the middle, to the culmination! By the way, this is another chapter that I had to separate in two parts because it was too long. What's on the menu today? I'm suggesting you senseless talks, a short love scene (it's been a while since I included it the last time), long-awaited reveals, the tension in the air, and something like that. I guess your head already goes round! Mine too! But the next events are going to be much tenser! So, I advise you not to relax if you've reached this moment and decided to check my work.
Anyway, I would be madly happy if you liked this book, added it to your library and told me what you think of the storyline and the characters' actions. I hope you would't lose your interest for my book and would read it until the very end. My English is not perfect, but I'm doing my best to make my texts more or less readable.
To get a mood for reading, play the so-called soundtrack for this book Miley Cyrus — Scars, the lyrics of which were used for the orginal title of the character.
Here's a little snippet from one of the parts:
"Well, as you guessed everything, we don't have to explain something," Raquelle smiles innocently. "Because you hardly need it."
"But why did you do it?" Edward puts the envelopes on the table and, squinting slightly, gloomily stares at Raquelle and Terrence. "Why? Why did you pretend that you just got the letters with threats?"
"I think it was the only way to find out what we needed," Terrence says confidently, starting to speak in a much colder voice. "What you're aware of."
"Yeah, maybe, do you want to tell us something?" Raquelle asks quietly, crossing her arms over her chest. "Huh, my sweet Eddy? Do you have something to say?"
"Me?" Edward rounds his eyes. "Erm..."
"Yeah, you're kind of too excited, dear brother," Terrence notices, setting his gloomy look at Edward. "Don't you have to do with the threats from the letters? After what we had to experience, we have a reason to believe we got a betrayal, who decided to help someone destroy us."
"What? Terrence..." Edward shakes his head slightly. 'Terrence, what are you talking about? Why do you think so bad of me? What did I do to you?"
"Don't pretend to be an innocent lamb, Edward. Your game is over. Raquelle and I bite you through and can confidently blame you for our problems."
"Maybe, you got to distract us and pretended that everything was fine," Raquelle says with absolute calm. "But we're no longer going to believe you. Because you've done enough to help someone destroy us."
"Guys, what's wrong?" Edward wonders, breathing a little heavily. "Why are you looking at me as if I'm an enemy?"
"Enough, Edward!" Raquelle exclaims a little louder. "Stop having us wrapped around your finger! You do know who wrote the letters, and what the author of them needs from us. I've been sure that it has to do with you from the beginning. And my suspicions got confirmed."
Have a good day!
Love, Estrella Rose.
