The Secrets Hidden In The Scars: Chapter 21

Hey, everybody! I've just added Chapter 21 to my book "The Secrets Hidden In The Scars" that you can read now. The first part is here, the second part is here.

I still continue to work on new chapters, and my characters are still doing stupid things, trying to solve their problems, talking much, and getting more problems. Well, nothing new! No special events will happen so far, but I can assure you that we're getting very close to them! The culmination is so close! At least I can say that the next chapter will have (warning, spoiler!) a love scene after a long talk. Oh, yeah, I'm probably the only one to add love moments and then make characters solve problems. Well... Who said everything would be so easy, and the story would contain only of tons of sweet moments? It will not be easy! I do promise!

Anyway, I would be madly happy if you liked this book, added it to your library and told me what you think of the storyline and the characters' actions. I hope you would't lose your interest for my book and would read it until the very end. My English is not perfect, but I'm doing my best to make my texts more or less readable.

To get a mood for reading, play the song Demi Lovato — Mistake, the lyrics of which were used for the orginal title of the character.

Here's a little snippet from one of the parts, which will be published within a few days:

"Yeah, but still..." Anna says thoughtfully. "You haven't said why Edward blames you for cheating if you didn't do that. What kind of proof of your fault did he have?"

"Erm, what..." Natalia pronounces quietly, falls into silence for two seconds, and glances at her hands. "Kind..."

"Don't wanna say it?"

"It's gonna be hard to say it again. The situation wasn't very nice, and I also should find the courage to tell you what happened between us. But I can swear on anything that I never cheated on Edward and didn't think about it."

"I believe you, sweetie, don't worry," Anna puts a hand on Natalia's shoulder and softly caresses it. "But didn't you try to prove that you were loyal to him? Why did you let him believe he was betrayed?"

"Meaning? To be called a false bitch that couldn't be loyal? Besides, if Edward is really a scumbag and loves nobody but himself, I don't wanna be with that man."

"But you love him!"

"Sadly..." Natalia sighs heavily. "Loving such a mean man is my punishment... I'm an idiot... I naively believed that I finally met my prince that would make me happy. But I met a failure again."

"Maybe, would he understand you if you told him the truth? Edward also suspected that you were hiding something. So, you weren't open to him. He does know nothing about your secrets you were hiding for five months. Though we know that building a relationship on a lie is impossible."

"He will never know it," Natalia says coldly. "I'm not going to say anything to that egoistic scum that needs only money. Not only the money he's supposed to get, but also the money that will never belong to him."

"Wrong, friend. You must let him know he's an idiot that naively believes this slander. If he turned everybody against you and made them believe you're an allegedly false betrayer, it would be too much."

"I wanna tell him nothing. Edward can stay alone and continue to say terrible things about me, Terrence, Raquelle, and even his own mother. With the stolen money. I want him to wish to strangle himself after he starts to regret preferring dollars over the love of his close people."

Have a good day!
Love, Estrella Rose.
