The Secrets Hidden In The Scars: Chapter 29

Hiya, everyone! I'm ready to announce the first update in 2023 from my book "The Secrets Hidden In The Scars". Chapter 29 is available for reading. And yeah, I have some news: I decided to start the new year with some changes and made the decision to republish my books without separating them into several parts. Yes, I know they will have a huge number of pages. I know someone will not like the fact that my books have more than one thousand pages, and every book from the Stay Strong, Brave and Happy book series gets more and more pages. But I think it's better this way. Well... Or it won't be... I don't know! However, I noticed that the second, the third and following parts did not usually get any views. People usually watch the first part. So, I've added all the missing chapters to the first parts of the three books (The Sins Of The Past, The Broken Hearts Story, and The Secrets Hidden In The Scars) and deleted the following parts. From now, they can be read in one place, without the need to open a new part of any book.

I hope you had a good time celebrating the New Year and came back to your business. So, I've already done it and keep working on the new chapters. This is, so to say, the second part of the final battle of kindness and evil. I can confidently say that the worst time are over for the characters. Yes, life hasn't gotten better yet, but they've got a chance to exhale with relief. A little spoiler: the next chapter doesn't have almost anything important. Let's called it the come-to-themselves-chapter. It would actually be great to delete it or at least shorten it and leave only the most important moments. But I shall do it in the shortened edition that I will publish when I finish working on the full one. Now you have to read what you have and wonder when it will be over.

Anyway, I would be madly happy if you liked this book, added it to your library and told me what you think of the storyline and the characters' actions. I hope you would't lose your interest for my book and would read it until the very end. My English is not perfect, but I'm doing my best to make my texts more or less readable.

Here's a little, slightly changed snippet from one of the parts, which will be published within a few days:

"Oh, oh, here's the protector!" Michael rolls his eyes. "Wake up, Terrence! Stop doing stupid things! You kind of seem a smart adult man, but you act like you have no brains. And forget about your love for this kid. If Edward is still a close person to you after everything he has done to you. Stop worrying about this worthless puppy and protect him. He does not deserve this love and care."

"YOU do not deserve it!" Terrence says confidently. "Not this man. And if you want to know, I want to tell you one thing. I will never be indifferent to my younger brother. Whatever happens between us. I cared, I care, and I will care about Edward."

"Ugh, alright, stop, or I'm going to clean my stomach," Michael winces strongly. "I'm sick of one brother worrying about another. And this gal screaming loudly and crying every time her ex does something to kill someone or die himself."

"And we are sick of you showering him with mud for nothing," Natalia says confidently, coming closer to Edward and putting a hand on his shoulder. "Edward doesn't deserve the insults that he hears from you. And it's unpleasant for us to hear you trying to humiliate him. It's disgusting for us to know you see only weaknesses about him."

"I'm not the one to blame that this kid makes himself the one. That he can do nothing good and necessary and lives nobody knows why. Who needs this talentless creature? What can he give someone? Nothing! A worthless puppy! A pathetic, cowardly creature that shouldn't have been born in this world."

"We need this man!" Terrence says with his head proudly up.

"Your life would've been better if your mom and dad hadn't let him be born."

"And our life would've been better if you hadn't been born," Edward says in a rude, low voice and sharply points the pistol to Michael, holding it tightly with his hands. "Though, I will fix this great mistake with pleasure."
