The Emerald Lights ( New Book )

PROLOGUE.

SLAVE

The sun was above my head when I step out of hell.

The emerald lights.

I saw through my tearful eyes the clean and blue sky. I had lost hope to see this vista. I’m never ever going to avoid nature anymore. I gulped the fresh air as if I could eat it, I wanted air to breathe without feeling suffocation.

My naked body shined with sweat under the sun but I was thankful I need it.

Breezes pass through my body and pierce my bones.

My dirty hair flips along with the hum of the winds. It was nice.

It feels unreal.

It feels good.

It Feels Alive.

I was alive. I made it. I survived.

A victory smile droned to my lips even though I had collapsed twice when the man made me walk on the raw ground. I didn’t even hiss when a thorn or stone sink into my bare foot. The pain made me believe that I had senses left. Leaving bleeding footsteps behind I walked with the man who was dragging me like the other captives with men.

I finally look ahead to where they were taking us. My head was still heavy and my eyes were seeing double but the old building was wide and something to pull my all attention. It seems like a warehouse with few broken walls and black bricks. One floor building was nothing like I thought they’ll take me.

The yellowish pain was half-washed and the door was so huge I look up only to see its reach.

My breaths dissolve in my steady veins and I took my time to stare before the man behind me kicked me, asking me to move.

I stumbled countless times before falling into the raw path along with others. The massive rusty door opened with a loud sound and I saw blurry inward.

I knew this place won’t be less hell than the one I just crossed.

But I had no other choice left. Other captives were crying and shouting for food or water but I kept my steps strong.

Little did I know it was Bordello.

Destiny has been written by itself.

I had nothing but to fall into the way and I entered the massive and bright building with a promise knot in my heart.

I’m going to cross this hell as well.

I’ll survive this one too.

I will shine like the emerald lights.
