My Best Buddy

She was the most loyal buddy I have

Living life with her was so much fun and cozy

All she gave every day to me was love

That girl who sometimes lay down being lazy

She would play around and make me laugh

And she was at times really goofy

But made me worry at times when she cough

And when her moods comes into shifty

I was busy with my life

And with that I forgot my best buddy on my side

Who was looking at me with all pride

But I had left alone so she was strife

One day I realized she was pale

Unalive not like the normal days

I rush and get to her as she wag her tail

But unable to get up from where she lays

Tears fell down thru my eyes

As I realized my buddy was already saying goodbye

She was sick and it was late when I realize

And our bond was close to be unties

I neglected her

Her who was with me in what like was seemed forever

I ignored her

So many times that she thought I no longer love her

It was very late to bring her to the vet

She was dying, my most loyal pet

All throughout the love I get

I forgot to give her what she deserve to get
