Description of book "Duchess of the Dunes"

Two lives. Two identities. One secret. One destiny.

Near the Egyptian Western Desert called the Great Sand Sea, a story of love had begun. There lived a woman whose life was put in danger when she married a young Nobleman, and was forced to live under a new name and identity. Meanwhile, a foster son of a camel herder was given a new lease of life and asked to heed a noble call.

Will he abandon the desert life in exchange for nobility? Will she reclaim the right that was taken from her? Will destiny be kind this time?

I like the vivid description of African beauty. Ultimately, Duchess Naja earned the position she was entitled. Her philosophy in the end to Latifah about losing something in life to balance the situation is the message is the overall story!

Vijay Kerji, Thank you for your wise take on the "Duchess of the Dunes". In fiction, as with reality, life is indeed filled with things which balance the existence of humanity.
