Hi guys so I started working on its not a man's world a bit ago and now I have realised that I have the idea but not how to write it has anyone got advice or am I best leaving it for a bit or scraping it until another time
Hmm, well, sometimes I write them down via drafts and outlines. But, other times, I leave the story and focus on other things until my mind is fresh, and I feel the motivation or get ideas to continue. Or, focus on a different story and come back to the other one later. I understand when you want to write a novel but don't know how to go about doing it, it happens.

Start writing out notes, brainstorming ways to continue. Or just sit on it til it comes back to you. Sometimes you can lose it altogether doing that, but it happens...

Sometimes it helps writing it multiple times. I’ve had scenes that have gone through six drafts outside the main body of the story to get right.
