Finding your niche

If you're going to write stories about rape all day but they've got nothing to do with any of your characters playing victim but rather justifying or writing from the POV of the rapist (please don't judge the author, just trying something new) where would your stroke of *Brilliance* fall under? Romance?  Since there's a lot of loving going on, even if it's against the ... in this case, antagonists will. (it feels so weird saying this and I feel like such a nuisance asking so many questions out to all the people who actually read these instead of dispelling pearls of wisdom like some literary God. *ha!*)
