I'm Back + About my next book, 'blue Road'
Hey, it's been a while (ok, it's actually been quite some time since I last did anything on this site)
Sorry, I had said nothing about my absence, but I've been very busy with my work and personal life. I'd rather not into too much detail, to be honest, I've been trying my best to balance out work and play, although, lately, I hadn't found a lot of time to work on some of my projects and stories myself (hate writer's block), but I'm doing my best to get my work out there and done in any way I can (while also taking time for myself too, of course, that definitely comes first).
I can't say that I'll be active as much as I used to on here, I'm afraid. Like I said, I have a lot to do back in real life, so I can't make frequent posts as much. But that doesn't mean I don't miss posting and checking the site from time to time. I'll still be around, of course!
So, anyway, back onto the main topic at hand. I'm happy to announce that I finally have a new story done (cleaned it through a good chunk so I could fix up the grammar, punctuations, etc.) and would like to post it sometime in the future. I can't make promises, but I'm hoping to have its first episode released sometime either this week or the week after. With that said, what's my next story going to be about? What will you expect reading it?
Well, for starters, the title is called, 'Blue Road'. The 'blue' and 'road' aren't technically literal in this case, per se (it might be a bit complicated to explain, but I'll try my best). Rather, it focuses more on character drama and their relationships. The paths the main character will take, the people he will meet and interact with, he'll make a lot of choices, and it'll affect him and (possibly) the people around him forever. He'll have to get through a lot to reach his destination, if that makes sense.
In short, this story is mostly a drama, with elements of suspense, supernatural (the main character's tagalong is a ghost), thrills, action, and an ongoing mystery sprinkled in there. But since drama is not a tag I can put on for this, I'll have to settle with some forms of Suspense and Mystery for now.
Synopsis: "Richard didn't heed his guardian's warnings about the mysterious and shady place from the flyer he came across. He wanted a big break and a chance to make some quick and easy money, but he never expected to find himself tricked and caught in a twisted experiment conjured up by scientists. Transformed into a monstrous blue, blob-like creature, Richard flees the scene in a panic. He teams up with a ghostly child named Fawn, who wants to seek revenge on her and her parents' killer, and leaves town to find the person (or people) responsible for their (recently) destroyed lives.
Federal Agents, corrupt corporate heads, shady scientists, and even the police are all on his trail. Richard will need to use his newly honed skills to uncover the truth of who's really behind the scenes, and who to trust along the way. Can Richard and Fawn find the answers they seek? Will they even like what they find?"
Apologies if this blog post is pretty long, guess I had a lot to say about this. Like I said, I'm hoping to get the first episode out either by end of this week (since this is most likely going to get posted on a Sunday) or the next. Can't make promises, I'm afraid. But regardless, I'm really excited to share this one out (but also really nervous as to how the reception will be, especially compared to my other stories).
This is definitely my longest story so far, and there's a lot going in (I don't want to give too much away though), and one of my favorites I've written thus far (actually, I like all of my works). I'm proud of what I wrote and I hope you guys enjoy it too~
Hey, if you stuck around and read the whole thing all the way through, thank you, and I appreciate it~

Log inWow, hi Celeste! Good to see you, I’ve missed you! I’m so glad you’re back! And a new story on the way, I must say I’m intrigued and would love to read it! I apologize for not being able to read your other stories, I’ve been busy as well, but now that you’re back I’ll try to read them at length. And yes, I totally understand how life gets in the way, I’ve been trying to work on some stories but either lack the motivation or time. Anyway, I just want to thank you for the millionth time for all your help and support in the past, and I’ll try my best to do the same for you now. Happy writing!
Olivia Gordon Reid, Hello, good to see you again Olivia! I also want to apologize for not being able to hold my end of the bargain and finish reading your stories as well. Yes, even with motivation, time, and life getting in the way, it's no excuse for me to not keep my promise. I also want to thank you for the help and support you've given me, and hope you're doing well (in life as well as your work). And it's not a problem either~
Like I said, I won't be as active as much on here anymore, but I still want to give support to content creators (like yourself) and share my stories online as well! P.S., glad to hear you're intrigued about my next story too c:
Happy writing~
