Mate!

My wolf claimed her right away. He had needed to see her in real life for him to understand why we were so drawn to her, and now I got why. It didn’t really help the situation much, because it made me f*cking territorial of her, and right now she was giving some random stranger a bl*w job.

“Oh f*ck …” I heard her say.

That about sums it up.

“Get up,” I said.

For a moment, it looked like she was about to fight me, and that little show of defiance intrigued me, but then River stood up, looking down and it was clear she was feeling quite embarrassed. Trust me, I wasn’t very happy about this situation.

“Get over here,” I commanded.

I saw her turn her hands into tight fists, and again that intrigued me. Why did she want to defy me so much? It only made me want to know more about her. River placed herself in front of me, still looking down and giving me her submission, even if she didn’t want to. She couldn’t help herself though, this was the way an omega responded to an alpha. I placed my finger under her chin and lifted her head a little, it was a small act, but it gave her the permission to look at me, and those sweet brown eyes were now directed at me, shooting so much anger at me.

“Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t k!ll this one,” I said lowly, yet the guy heard me and started to stammer.
