Introduce yourself
The Litnet community is growing by the day. I'm new on here too, this is my first week as a member.
I thought it would be fun to get to know each other, talk a little about our ongoing stories and upcoming projects.
I'll follow anyone who participates. Hope you follow back.
Let's begin.
My name is Roza Csergo, I live in the UK.
My ongoing story the "Thunder Tournament" is a new adult fantasy about a girl who enters the deadliest competition of the realm to win an audience with the king. She makes friends along the way, forms alliances out of necessity and falls in love.
My upcoming project is the story I'm most proud of and is titled "Love in 1943". As the title suggests, it's a romantic action-adventure set in World War 2. The protagonist is about to be executed for deserting his post when something life-changing happens.
Now it's your turn. I'm waiting to connect with you.

Log inwow, I'm rlly late, I don't even know how I found this;)
Anyway, hi Roza! I'm Izzy and I started writing here on litnet in November I think. I have 2 books that are ongoing at the moment, "A demon's love" and "yours truly." The demon one is just about a demon who falls in love with a human, but he can't let himself or her to love each other or else she'll die. And yours truly is a romance book that I randomly started writing, so I actually have no idea how it's gonna end. I'm more of an experiment type of person and I don't really plan my stories:))
I don't really have any writing experience but hey, you only have one life to live and I wanted to try something new. Love your books too btw❤️
Izzy, Hello dear. Don't worry, you could never be late because this is an ongoing party.
I'm so happy you joined us. Booknet is a platform for newbies and veterans, all you have to do is create. And you're doing great. Keep sharing your stories with the world.
Hi I have just started on hear last week. I have no writing experience. but I have started my first story on here that you have. Given me pointers on. I have a few ideas started one is a conspiracy about man going to the moon I'm calling 1969. Another which is hopefully going to be a comedic horror, about two teenage boys stumbling across various monsters and myths. This will be a series.
And I am on with a project that someone else is writing for me. Its about a man so hell bent on revenge that not even death will stop him. My name is Simon Eastwood and I live in England
Hello Simon Eastwood, nice to meet you. I'm looking forward for your projects.
Hey Roza, lovely to meet you. I am on Litnet and Wattpad for some reason. Not sure why I am on both. On Litnet I have only the one story but unlike my usual horror or pulp stuff on Wattpad, my story here is deliberately and old time romance style, set in the modern day. I wanted to explore the development of characters and a slow romance story unfolding, based on the 1930's/1940's old movies. I think I just got sick of the modern cynical, grind stories, so for me, it's an experiment to see if interaction and conversation like in the old days, still counts as romance. It's lovely to connect with you. BTW, I'm from Australia
HypGothic, what's your name there?
Hi, my name is Althea, probably best known for my story Bubble Tea Girl on Wattpad. I am from New York City. I was invited to join litnet a couple of months ago during the college campuses contest but I opted out of it because I had too many other projects at the time. I'm currently posting my vampire series "The Devil's Pet" atm.
Hi. I'm so happy you joined this conversation. It's nice to connect with you. I'm going to check out your ongoing story and follow you. Would you please follow back?
Hi, my name is Sonya, I am new to Litnet. I have just published my first story. I like to blog when I feel up to it so I decided to write about what I have learned. I am testing the waters to see how this goes.
Hi. Welcome to Litnet. I'm so happy to connect with you. A book on blogging may be of great use so I'll definitely go and read it. If you like action-adventure fantasy fiction then I welcome you to check out my ongoing stories and maybe let me know how you liked them. Wish you health and stamina to fulfill your goals and dreams. Regards, Roza
Hi there, I'm pretty new here myself. It's nice to meet you~
My name is Celeste; I live in the US. I mainly write stories that have action, fantasy, adventure, and/or drama in them. My favorite genres to read are comedy, slice of life, drama, and adventure.
My ongoing story here is "The Misadventures of a Young Dark Magician." It's an action fantasy about a dark magician named Benjamin who plans on conquering planet Earth with the help of his sidekicks/familiars Harry and Chi-Chi. He gets into all sorts of mishaps as he finds himself close and away from his goal at different points. (It makes sense in context)
My upcoming story (to put on the website) is "Land of the Unknown." It's a story about three teens who end up getting sucked into a portal during a field trip to an unknown land filled with dinosaurs, environmental hazards, and possibly more. The trio have to find a way out before it's too late.
Roza Csergo, It's nice to meet you too, thanks so much, I hope I can deliver, I'm quite proud of what I have so far, and I'm happy to connect with you too~
Hi Roza, you and I have gone way back I believe, since we are already reading each others book : )
My name is Goodness Shadrach, I'm a Nigerian
I have started writing at the age of ten, right now I have a lot of children's book but I can't publish any here because its so childish and I often laugh at myself whenever I read them
My ongoing stories here are First love which is about Micah Steele who had been in a long term relationship but his lover actually left him to marry another man after six years of their love life and only to return two years later when he was about to get involve with Alicia, his worker.
The second is This isn't goodbye which is about Jeremy a doctor who happened to find out that his highschool crush was suffering from leukemia and has only but six months to live and he vowed to make her better in order to finally be able to spend time with her after all he has loved her in his heart for ten years
I have a lot of upcoming ones that I'm finding it difficult to choose the one to start wit
My completed ones are White waters, Tame the beast and Pride
I recently created a club for writers, hope you will be a member, it holds every Friday. Nice meeting you Roza.
Chioma-rings nice. I don't want to come across as a kiss-ass but I'd love to name a character Chioma. May I?
Hello. Im on Litnet and Wattpad. I received a message on Wattpad inviting me to join this site and enter a contest a few months back. I wound up being chosen as a finalist for my story Blood Moon and won a trip to the AWP conference along with Cherie Mitchell and four other talented up and coming writers . It was a unique experience that motivated me and helped me make new writer friends. I usually write young adult novels with some type of paranormal or supernatural element in the story, but have been trying my hand at new genres lately. Such as my adult mystery/romance novel in process called Bad Moon on the Rise. But I enjoy reading a variety of things. I live in the United States and would love to make my living as a writer one day! But no matter what, I'll write until I die ;) Welcome to Litnet!
AnnaRCase, Nice to meet you and I'm happy to be here.
I'm in love with this community.
You guys are such an inspiration.
Hi Roza!
Welcome to the community. I was lucky enough to win a trip to the US with Litnet's Small Town, Big Stories Competition and I can certainly vouch for how awesome this place is for authors, regardless of where each person is in their writing journey.
My name is Cherie Mitchell and I live in New Zealand. I have published several books, both traditionally and indie but I love the control that indie publishing gives the writer.
My books on here include Mary Ellen and Last Resort: Paranormal Investigations. I love writing character-driven stories and I can't resist adding unexpected twists.
Good luck with your writing :)
Wow, that's amazing.
I believe Roza and I have met our first week here, and I am very happy to have found the rest of you on this Litnet Community as well.
I write both fiction and non-fiction and have many projects in process.
The first project I've posted here is a collection of Poems and Short Stories, adding a few more chapters every few days to learn how this site works.
I have written and taught many curriculums over the years.
Now that motorcycle injuries are better, I am concentrating on compiling the non-fiction for teachers, and continue my work on a fiction project
I found Litnet through an Add on Facebook.
Looking forward to getting to know you all and your writings better.
I'm glad to hear you're feeling better. Can't wait to read your upcoming works.
Welcome Roza!!
A. S. Deller, Thank you. Happy to connect.
Hey there! I was watching a YouTube video about finding a literary agent and a Litnet ad popped up. So here I am.
Yeah, I'm considering going the traditional way in publishing my next book. So let's see how will that work out. And if anybody has experience, it would be great to hear about that.
Here, I posted JUST LIKE AN EARTHLING, a science fiction story, about highly intelligent aliens who become familiar with our planet and that can possibly cause quite a stir throughout the entire galaxy.
Obviously I am a big fan of science fiction and fantasy, so the story I'm working on now is about vampires. Watch out, they are among us! :)
Vera J Evan, Nice to meet you Vera. That's how I become a Litnet member as well.
It would be amazing to traditionally publish my writing.
If only I could bring myself to finish them.
Sad but true. Having readers that enjoy my story is a good kick in the butt tho.
