Writers club
Hi guys, I'm thinking about creating a club for us, though since our geographical areas are different, I'm thinking about making it in a blog way, it would be taking place every Friday and since our time zones are different too, there is no need adding time, we will make this way :
1. One writer will post his/her challenges in writing and the ones that know the answer will be kind enough to answer thereby helping those who also have similar problems learn from their answer.
2. We will share our thoughts about what our readers thinks about our book, we will discuss it as one
3. We will share our experiences with writing
4. We will share our inspiration, it will be just like a small gathering, a writers community
5. We will have fun, make it fun to be a writer in litnet, although we do not see each other but we can make it fun, ask ourselves questions, get to know each other, play some fun games, it will be fun if we get to know ourselves ( don't you think?)
NB: who ever that wants to post or start the fun of the day should name it WRITERS CLUB in order to differentiate it from other blogs.
What do you think my fellow writers, should we open it? Get to know each other? Share our experiences? If you think I'm making sense and you think we should really have it, just type
"I'M IN" in the comment box, thank you
It's good to be a writer, hurray to writers club : )

Log inJust thinking, should we as writers start a collaboration project or something? Honestly I think it'll be great.
AnnaRCase, Sure
sounds like a great idea!
What a wonderful idea!!! I just got sanction from Litnet to start a facebook page for Writers for the American Site. I haven't gotten it up yet as there are a few more details I have to iron out with them. There are already pages in existence for the other languages. Whatever you all do here, let me know and I will promote it there.
One thought about the club is it may work best if it has its own profile so whenever someone blogs it doesn't go out to all the author's readers as well. Plus you can keep things more organized and in one spot. If that makes sense. Those that want to participate would just need to follow that profile and would be followed back by that profile to get updates.
Alright then
That's a great idea; it'd be a way to learn from one another, get to know one another, and experience many different kinds of things along the way. Yeah, I'd love to join, but how will this work as a blog on this website? Not like we have a moderator or a separate forum post that's different from the other blogs here?
Celeste I., its just for the group, it takes place only on Fridays
May I be part of this club too? Hope I'm not too late to the party.
Hahahaha, definitely not, we want all writers to join
When we have gathered all of our members, we will then choose a moderator but if you are already interested, you can indicate yourself but mind you, every task will be on you, just like every moderator ; )
Nice idea. Perhaps the chosen moderator could even choose one story a week from participating members to have everyone read and comment upon. Like a book club:)
Very very interesting, I love this
I'm really happy that you all are thinking like me, thanks alot
For all of us that typed I'm in, mind you, we gonna ask questions to keep the gathering lively and you have to answer
: )
I think your initiative is interesting and it brings us together through our crafts. I suggest some one to take a role of moderator to make it professional. Some one who can mediate when the writer posts something which is out of context. I fully support your initiative.
